My son fell ill right before our trip, and despite the difficult circumstances, the owner of Hekla Cabin 2 Volcano And Glacier View, Hulda, showed great understanding and refunded our money. It really meant a lot to us during such a challenging time. The cabin itself was cozy, with comfortable beds, and provided us with everything we needed. The views outside were breathtaking, and we especially enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing and welcoming stay.

The cabin was a cozy and comfortable place to stay, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot, which made for a pleasant and relaxing experience. the cabin was also well-equipped with everything we needed, including a toaster and coffee machine. the location of the cabin was ideal, as it was conveniently located on the ring road and provided easy access to the golden circle and other sights in the area.

there were alternatives such as a hob-based cooking or microwave meals available. This should be taken into consideration if cooking is an important factor for your stay.

The terrace was the highlight of my stay, offering stunning views of the volcano and glacier. It felt like sitting on a front row seat to nature's magnificent theater.

No cooker.

The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were large and comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The location was also convenient, being situated on the ring road and close to the Golden Circle attractions. the view outside the cabin was absolutely stunning.

We had some issues with the shower. The water would turn cold if someone took too long to shower, and we couldn't figure out how to adjust the heater.

The environment was absolutely chilling, quiet and natural, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The cabin was mind-blowingly equipped with EVERYTHING!! We were able to cook a mouth-watering dinner using the full-fledged kitchen and enjoyed a romantic evening. The host was super nice, responding within a minute of our call. Although we couldn't witness the northern lights due to weather conditions, the location was super for northern light hunting.
